Stock Skoda Fabia I (6Y) 1.9TDi (74kW), year 2001.
Every stock car has following limits:
- driver
- brakes
- suspension
Most of limits were resolved by following upgrades:
- racing FW – Hajes Inside NM
- brake pads EBC Green Stuff
- stainless steel braided brake hoses Goodridge
- custom made wheel spacers
It has been decent improvement over stock components but it needed better suspension. I’ve completely lost brakes thanks to ABS – once wheels started to bounce on the road, ABS failed. It might been also mechanical failure since I’ve seen an error of ABS sensor – uncommon error most likely caused by failure of ABS rather than mechanical/software failure.
Driving assistants were designed on smooth roads of racing circuits.
